ZigWil

Jan Plasse, a Mount Dora, Florida-based artist, loves animals of all kinds. She lovingly captures their expressive, beautiful eyes and faces in realistic, photo-like images. Her favorite medium is colored pencils, but she has also worked with oils, acrylics, and pastels.

Jan was a 5th grade teacher for 35 years in Rhode Island, has two wonderful children, a loving husband, and is Memere to two beautiful boys. She publishes work under the name ZigWil, in memory of her sweet dog Ziggy and her new love, Willy.
